These events are often highly competitive and when you qualify to take home a trophy you will naturally want to display it prominently for others to see. Gold and Silver Trophies
For junior golf trophies that are made using these metals, extra care should be taken with their cleaning and display. Even if just plated, they are best kept behind glass displays. This will limit their exposure to dust, humidity, and other contaminants. Oxidation can be a big problem that will tarnish the metal. Undertake basic regular cleaning using mild detergent and plain water. Be sure to dry it thoroughly afterward with a soft cloth. Avoid using abrasive materials that can scratch the surface of the metal. For a deeper clean, you may give the award a spa bath with some mild alkaline solution. You can also use toothpaste for deep cleaning, but do not use a toothbrush. Rub in the paste using a soft cloth of your fingers before rinsing off with clean water.

They also do not easily deteriorate in appearance with time. They can however accumulate dust and can be easily kept clean with just a mild detergent and clean water. A baking soda wash can also help. Use a soft micro-fiber cloth to dry afterward.
Acrylic and Glass Trophies
These trophies are more delicate and require careful handling. Mild washing-up liquid can be used to remove light stains or marks. Commercially sold glass cleaner is suitable for tackling tougher stains with a soft cloth being used to dry the award thereafter.
